I wanted to share with you all something I found that, well to me at least, is awesome.

It is a site that lets you create and write your own book for free. BUT also lets you PUBLISH your book for no more than 15 bucks!!!

Now for me, that is righteously awesome! (I have lived in California for way too long...)

Here is the site:

Whats even more interesting is that one of the two people who run this site, I happen to know! He goes to ma mums church.

So I of course started writing my very first book! For now it is nothing more than a collection of short horror related stories.

This is just one of my little geek bonuses. ;)

Hope to see you guys writing something soon.

Spaced is the greatest show EVER!! At first I didn't really like planet terror, but then the more I watched it, the more I loved it.

Yea not really a typical zombie movie to me, but it had great action sequences and tons of blood. And my personal favorite really stylistic editing.

i wonder, if it was possible to make an almost flowing stop motion animation..
but really creepy.
[link]

like this, but having to do this technique around 1000 times to the pictures,
then animating something like a ghost staring in the bg with a very formidable posture..

wadda ya think?
:icondispach:
gahh. nvm >_< i need a remote shutter release.
:icondarkerthanblack:
When it comes to stop motion animating, I had a very cheap, an almost weird, way of doing it. My technique is all in the editing. I would film my actor/actress on a normal DV or HD camera. But would have them move into position every half a second or so. Then in the editing, I would cut the parts of them moving into the position, and just use one single capture of them in their final positions. Then put it all together. It creates a really interesting look.
